Itinerary

Whether you’re arriving in Marrakech today or already staying in the city, your journey begins with a personalized pick-up — either from the airport or your accommodation.

If your arrival is in the morning or early afternoon, we’ll start the day with a gentle introduction to the city, including a visit to the peaceful Menara Gardens and a panoramic drive through the palm-lined streets of Marrakech. Afterward, we’ll take you to your hotel or riad so you can settle in and enjoy some time to relax.

If your flight arrives later in the day, we’ll take you directly to your accommodation, allowing you to rest and recharge before the adventure begins the next day.

Overnight stay in Marrakech.

After breakfast, meet your certified local guide for a captivating walking tour through the heart of Marrakech.

Your day begins with the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), whose majestic minaret sets the spiritual tone of the city. Then, explore the splendid Bahia Palace, a jewel of Moroccan craftsmanship, and the mysterious Saadian Tombs, hidden for centuries and beautifully preserved. Continue to the Dar Si Said Museum to discover traditional Moroccan arts and decor.

Stroll through the bustling souks, admire the local artisans, and dive into the energy of Jemaa el-Fna Square, alive with street performers, merchants, and storytellers. End the guided visit with a peaceful stop at the Majorelle Garden, a tranquil oasis filled with exotic plants and vibrant colors.

After the tour, return to your accommodation to rest.

Optional: In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner with live entertainment in a beautiful riad or restaurant in the Medina — complete with Andalusian music, belly dancing, and folkloric performances (available upon request, with supplement).

After an early breakfast, your private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech for a scenic journey toward the gateway of the Sahara — Zagora.

The road takes you through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, enjoy dramatic landscapes, Berber villages perched on hillsides, and panoramic photo stops.

Before arriving in Zagora, we pass through the Draa Valley — Morocco’s longest palm grove, dotted with ancient ksours and kasbahs nestled among date palms and desert plateaus.

Upon arrival in Zagora, you’ll check in at your comfortable accommodation. Enjoy the desert breeze and admire the dramatic light over the palm-lined valley as the sun sets.

Dinner and overnight stay in Zagora.

After breakfast in Zagora, we continue our desert journey southward to the last village before the vast dunes begin: M’Hamid El Ghizlane.

Along the way, we follow the stunning Draa Valley, passing by ancient kasbahs and isolated desert villages. We’ll take time to stop for photos and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the arid landscape, where palm groves slowly give way to the endless desert plains.

Upon arrival in M’Hamid, you’ll begin to feel the stillness and immensity of the Sahara. This is one of the most authentic desert gateways in Morocco, where the paved road ends and the true wilderness begins.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a desert walk, explore the nearby dunes, or simply relax under the open sky before a traditional dinner.

Dinner and overnight stay in a charming desert lodge or camp in M’Hamid El Ghizlane.

After a peaceful night in the desert, we leave M’Hamid and set off on a journey through Morocco’s remote and wild south. Our route takes us through rugged terrain, vast rocky plains, and oasis-filled valleys—some of the country’s least-explored yet most breathtaking regions.

We pass through iconic Saharan towns such as Tagounite, Tamegroute—famous for its green pottery and ancient Quranic library—and N’Kob, a village dotted with over 40 traditional kasbahs.

As the landscapes shift from desert to dramatic gorges, we continue through Tazzarine and Alnif, following the edge of the Jbel Saghro mountains, before reaching Boumalne Dades in the evening.

Settle in and relax at your accommodation, nestled in the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its deep gorges and kasbah-lined cliffs.

Dinner and overnight in Boumalne Dades.

After breakfast, we depart from Boumalne Dades and begin a scenic journey through some of Morocco’s most photogenic southern valleys. Our first highlight is the majestic Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls rise over 300 meters, carved by the Todra River. You'll have time to stretch your legs and admire the views.

We then travel through the towns of Tinghir and Erfoud, where desert landscapes begin to dominate the horizon. Erfoud is well known for its fossil workshops and Saharan ambiance—feel free to make a quick stop if time allows.

By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, on the edge of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Depending on your selected accommodation, you'll be transferred either by 4x4 or camel to your desert camp, or head directly to your hotel near the dunes.

As the sun sets over the sand, enjoy a traditional dinner and an unforgettable night under the stars in the magical Sahara.

Dinner and overnight in Merzouga (camp or hotel, based on your preference).

Wake up early if you wish to catch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, a moment of silence and beauty that will stay with you forever. After breakfast (served at your desert camp or hotel depending on your accommodation), you’ll begin your journey west toward Ouarzazate.

Along the way, we’ll pass through Rissani, known for its vibrant traditional market, then cross the pre-Saharan town of Alnif before continuing through Tazzarine and Nkob. From there, you’ll travel along the scenic Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river oasis, lined with thousands of palm trees and fortified kasbahs.

In the late afternoon, we arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” famous for its cinematic landscapes and film studios. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a well-earned rest.

Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we begin our journey toward the stone desert of Agafay, passing through some of the most breathtaking scenery in southern Morocco. Our first stop is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar renowned for its earthen architecture and film history.

We then continue across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, where you'll enjoy stunning views, Berber villages perched on hillsides, and opportunities for scenic photo breaks.

In the late afternoon, we arrive in the Agafay Desert, where you’ll check in to your luxury desert camp. The unique rocky landscape offers a serene escape just outside Marrakech.

Enjoy a magical sunset dinner under the stars, accompanied by traditional music and a fire show.

Overnight in Agafay Desert camp.

Wake up to the peaceful stillness of the Agafay Desert and enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the camp’s tranquil surroundings.

Depending on your departure schedule, you’ll be transferred either to your accommodation in Marrakech for a final day at leisure or directly to the airport for your flight home.

If time allows, we’ll be happy to recommend last-minute activities or visits to help you make the most of your final hours in Morocco.

This marks the end of our services — thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you again soon!
