Our tour driver/guide was Salah. He is a great guy, always prompt with the schedule, made sure that our needs are attended to. If we don’t want to get out of the van to take pictures, he takes the pictures for us. He makes sure that we always have water in the van and the van is always well taken cared of. Highly recommended, very great guy!

Itinerary

Welcome to Morocco!
Whether you're arriving at Marrakech airport or already staying in the city, our driver will pick you up in the morning and take you straight into the heart of the High Atlas Mountains.

After a short and scenic drive, you’ll reach the peaceful village of Imlil, your base for exploring the region. Nestled at 1,740 meters above sea level, Imlil offers a stunning backdrop of terraced hills, walnut trees, and snow-capped peaks.

Upon arrival, check in at a warm and authentic Berber guesthouse. If time permits, you can enjoy a light walk through the valley, visit nearby villages, or simply unwind on the terrace while sipping traditional mint tea.

In the evening, sit down for a homemade dinner prepared with local ingredients—a perfect introduction to Berber hospitality.

After a hearty traditional breakfast, lace up your walking shoes and get ready for a day of hiking through the spectacular High Atlas region.

Accompanied by a local mountain guide, you’ll embark on a moderate hike through authentic Berber villages, walnut groves, and terraced fields. Depending on your pace and interest, the route may include charming hamlets like Aroumd and Sidi Chamharouch, with breathtaking views of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak.

Enjoy a peaceful break for lunch in nature or at a local home, where you’ll get a real taste of mountain life.

In the afternoon, return to your guesthouse in Imlil, where you can relax on the rooftop terrace or enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the sunset over the peaks.

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the peaceful village of Imlil and begin our scenic transfer through the High Atlas Mountains, heading toward the lush and serene Ourika Valley.

Along the way, take in panoramic views of rugged peaks, terraced farmlands, and river valleys. Depending on timing and interest, we may stop for short scenic walks or photos en route.

Upon arrival in the Ourika Valley, check in to your charming guesthouse. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax or take a short walk through the nearby Berber villages.

Breathe in the fresh mountain air and prepare for the waterfall hike planned the next day.

After a hearty Berber breakfast in the peaceful Ourika Valley, it’s time to lace up your hiking shoes and set out on a memorable morning trek to the famous Setti Fatma waterfalls.

Your local guide will lead you along scenic mountain paths, crossing footbridges and ascending gentle slopes. Along the way, discover seven cascading waterfalls, dramatic rock formations, and refreshing natural pools nestled in the lush greenery of the High Atlas foothills.

Take your time to enjoy the stunning views and cool mist from the falls. You may even spot monkeys or mountain goats if you’re lucky!

After the hike, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch in a local riverside restaurant (optional, not included), then return to Marrakech in the afternoon.

After breakfast, set off for an unforgettable day excursion to one of Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders — the Ouzoud Waterfalls, located about 2.5 hours from Marrakech.

Upon arrival, begin your descent along a scenic trail surrounded by olive groves and lush landscapes. Your local guide (optional, not included) can show you hidden viewpoints and paths leading to the base of the 110-meter-high waterfalls, where rainbows often shimmer in the mist.

You’ll likely encounter friendly Barbary macaques along the way and have the chance to take a traditional wooden boat ride across the plunge pool (additional cost).

Enjoy lunch at one of the panoramic restaurants overlooking the falls (not included), then relax on the drive back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Begin your day with a hearty Moroccan breakfast at your riad before meeting your certified local guide for an immersive discovery of the vibrant Red City.

Your exploration starts with the iconic Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), whose majestic minaret has guided Marrakchi life for centuries. Then, step into history at the beautiful Bahia Palace, known for its exquisite mosaics and serene courtyards.

Continue to the mysterious Saadian Tombs, hidden for centuries behind walls, and rediscovered in 1917 — a true gem of Moroccan heritage.

Stroll through the souks of the medina, filled with colorful spices, handmade crafts, leatherwork, and textiles. Your guide will share stories and local insights as you weave through the bustling alleyways leading to the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, alive with snake charmers, street performers, and market vendors.

In the afternoon, visit the Majorelle Gardens (optional, entrance not included), a tranquil haven of exotic plants, cobalt-blue accents, and artistic heritage, once restored by Yves Saint Laurent.

After breakfast at your riad, enjoy your final morning in Marrakech at your own pace. Depending on your flight schedule, you may choose to explore more of the medina, relax in a local café, or visit cultural sites you may have missed.

At the agreed time, your driver will ensure a smooth and punctual transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport — marking the end of your unforgettable journey through the mountains and imperial cities of Morocco.
